Aim
To provide an insight into how the functional movements of the patient’s casts within the dental laboratory govern the construction and anatomical form of any restoration created.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the event participants will be able to:
- Show the functional movements of the mounted models and relate these movements to the controls on an articulator.
- Present an insight into how function will dictate form
- Highlight working procedures that will help to create occlusally correct restorations.
- Gain an insight into the difference in the occlusal scheme between working with natural teeth and implant supported restorations.
