Richard will guide you through the set up stages of camera, lens and flash combination’s, then move on to production of images for all your dental photography requirements. Twenty five years’ experience as both a pro photographer and a qualified dental technician will allow him to present dental photography in an “easy-to understand “fashion. Aims and Objectives • Show how straight forward dental photography is with a structured approach to remove the mystery. He has also gained a Diploma in Technical Implantology from Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) in 2008, and qualified as a Clinical Dental Technician at UCLan in 2013. He presents courses throughout the UK on a range of subject such as Implantology, Crown and Bridge, Occlusion, Smile Design. He has been an associate lecturer at MMU teaching crown and bridge technology. He was awarded contributor of the year by the Dental Laboratory Journal in 2010. He gained full level membership of British Academy Aesthetic Dentistry (BAAD) by presenting to the membership at their annual meeting in 2000. He has presented a number of times for the ADI at both regional and national level. He is currently the technician representative on the board of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD). He continues to run Taylor Dental Technology Centre in Leyland, Lancashire which he started in 1989. Employing a staff of 16. He is a certified Productivity Training Corporation (PTC) train the trainer. He had been a member of BIDST for over 30 years, and was awarded Fellowship in 2002. He arranges and hosts the North West BIDST meetings in Leyland. Aims and Objectives: * To show a range of practical procedures that will need to be completed on the day to convert a denture into a fixed bridge * Provide an insight into what equipment and materials may be required on the day * Outline the construction of a conversion denture and corresponding surgical guide * Highlight the gathering of useful information that can be used to assist in the construction of the definitive restoration Learning Outcomes: To have gained an insight into the working procedures that the Technologist may need to undertake to contribute to the provision of an immediate loaded implant bridge.
